About the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2011 with intake of 60 students. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is a vital component of academic institutions, focusing on the study, design, and application of electronic devices, and communication systems. It offers four year undergraduate course (B.E) in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department is affiliated to Anna University. The curriculum and syllabi for the programmes offered in the department are currently designed as per the Regulation 2017 & 2021 of Anna University, Chennai. It is fundamentals of science and mathematics, the program provides circuits and devices, control systems, Analog and Digital Electronics. In higher level classes offered include, satellite communication systems, VLSI and chip design, Digital Signal Processing, Antenna & Microwave Engineering, Wireless Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems and IOT design, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and many more.
