Department of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) was established in 2011 with an intake of 60 students. The EEE department, with a blend of experienced, dynamic, and qualified faculty members with a wide range of specializations, is able to provide quality and outcome-based education to the students. The department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and adopts innovative teaching practices. With its exceptional infrastructure, the department emphasizes sound practical knowledge. It offers a four-year undergraduate course (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department is affiliated with Anna University. The curriculum and syllabus for the programmes offered in the department are currently designed as per the Regulations 2017 and 2021 of Anna University, Chennai. The foundation of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the study of science and mathematics. . The programme provides circuits, machines, and power systems in the electrical field, as well as devices, controls, and power electronics in the electronics field. At the modern level, we offered simulation practicals in the electrical and electronics fields. For control processes, the Department offered the knowledge to control and operate the circuits using embedded and microcontrollers. The Department objectives are to use the above experience to perform collaborative research with industry and to improve student outcomes through teaching, research, development, and training in emerging technologies.

To provide services to meet the complex global engineering industry challenges by training students to become model professional electrical and electronics engineers with the highest standards of ethics.

  • To deliver high-quality technical education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with more skilled faculty members, good infrastructure, and an inspiring environment.
  • To guide the students to learn and exercise technologies those are common in allied fields and related industries.
  • To expose students to the newest ideas and developments via scientific conferences and joint research projects.
  • To inculcate moral principles, a sense of unity, and leadership abilities to address social issues, challenges, and demands.
